By creating an account or using PicsOfLife ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PicsOfLife. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person may not maintain multiple free accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, or violates anyone's rights.
• Upload content that infringes copyrights or trademarks you do not own.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute malware.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all memories, photos, and content you upload. By uploading content you grant PicsOfLife a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will never sell it or use it for advertising.

6. Free Plan & Subscriptions

• Free plan — available with limited features as described on the pricing page.
• Pro plan — billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. Use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PicsOfLife and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and thereafter through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
